How to Get Your
Nitrox Diving Certification
Learn why nitrox allows you to dive longer and how to dive safely with nitrox through online independent study. Meet with your PADI Instructor for hands-on exercises and the open water dive.

PADI eLearning
Online learning makes it easy to take scuba lessons if you have a busy schedule. Complete the knowledge development section of your course where and when it is convenient for you.
Work at your own pace, online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor for in-water training or when you have a question.
- eLearning time commitment: Between 1 and 2 hours

With your instructor
After completing your independent study, you will learn how to analyze a tank, fill out an enriched air log, and set up your dive computer for nitrox.Realizaremos una inmersión.

- Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
- Total commitment time: Between 1 and 2 days
- Minimum age: 12 years or older
- Depth: Variable according to bottle content.
More information about the program
Diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgeries may require that you obtain a physician’s written approval before diving.
Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver’s Medical Form to make sure you won’t need your doctor’s approval before signing up for a dive course. Instructors, divemasters and dive personnel are not doctors and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can issue a medical certificate for diving.

- PADI eLearning: 2-4 hours
- Full course: 1-2 days
It is possible to get your nitrox certification in as little as one day. Simply complete the online course and schedule a short hands-on session with your instructor. The two dives are optional. You can also earn a nitrox certification simultaneously with another course. After completing the Enriched Air eLearning and hands-on session with your instructor, you can use nitrox while completing dives for your Advanced Open Water Diver certification, Peak Performance Buoyancy certification, etc.
The course has a price including VAT of 199€.
Minimum age: 12.
Course Prerequisites: Enroll in Open Water Diver.
Divers ages 12 and older can earn a PADI Enriched Air Diver certification as part of their PADI Open Water Diver course. Ask your instructor for more information.
