The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of diving activities.
Through knowledge development sessions, in-water exercises and technique seminars, and through practical assessment, you will develop the skills to organize and direct a variety of diving activities.

How to Get Your
Dive Master Scuba Certification
PADI Divemaster training will develop your leadership skills, qualifying you to supervise diving activities and assist instructors with student divers.

Online training
Sign up for Divemaster Online – PADI’s eLearning option – to start training from your own home.
You can work through eight sections of knowledge development using a web-based system that allows you to learn at your own pace.
You also have access to an online version of the Divemaster Manual for consultation during and after the course.
Another option is to study by reading the Divemaster Manual and watching the Divemaster Video (a book and DVD package).

With your instructor
The course includes several dives where you will practice putting yourself in charge of various diving activities.
Gain experience, build confidence and discover your diving capabilities. Become a leader.
- Prerequisites: Rescue Diver, 40 logged dives, CPR and first aid certification within 24 months, medical clearance to dive
- Minimum age: 18 years or older
